Actually it's because he's a hack. And most people over 30 and wise enough to know it. He appeals to the occupy crowd and kids in school because they don't pay for their lives. Johnson is pro marijuana because he knows it gets these kids votes. He's pro anything that will get him votes. He has flexible morals and bendable ideals, just like Barry Obama.

Since this site is about Reason among other things, reason on this - every vote that goes toward a third party hack who will NOT be elected, it's the same thing as "giving" hill-billery" your vote.

It's called math. 1+1=2 1-1=0 so your vote for johnson takes away one vote from "?" or "gives" another vote to Hillary.

If you want to elect a socialistic dictator, vote third party, but KNOW what you are doing. And know you did it. In the past election, had Romney gotten 1/2 of the third party votes wasted, he would have beaten BO.

Gary Johnson is the only public figure out there with integrity. He means what he says. As a Libertarian presidential candidate, he got more votes than any Libertarian candidate before him. He gets my vote, even if I have to write him in.

As sure as there's cockroaches in the Chicago slums, this clown shows up as soon as he hears the word "election". He's as big a loser as has ever ran. Everybody knows he's not a republican, let alone a conservative, but he'll be right in there screwing up the process as long as the liberal" league of women voters" will "invite" him to a debate.

As far as I'm concerned, all the real conservatives should walk off the debates if he is here.

I think we have several republicans to choose from without picking somebody who can't get enough votes to account for his own family voting for him.

As for the last republican, I think Ronald Reagan was a pretty fair president. Both Bushes were disappointing, but compare even then to BO????? I'd take Bush I over BO.

I expect Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, perhaps Alan West and a few others to be lining up soon. We have plenty of time for this to work out, but this Johnson clod is a joke who is just like BO. He'll tell you what you want to hear while campaigning, then after the election he'll have amnesia.

If you're into status quo republicans or conservatives,(as in the ones who are equally responsible for the demise of this country) then he isn't for you. Last I heard he was running as a Libertarian.
If you don't like someone like him or Ron Paul, I have no idea why you would be here. Did you take a wrong turn somewhere?
