Superman: Ideal to live up to

Henry Rearden is the realistic superman that Ayn Rand showed us can be in every person, not just a lost boy from Krypton. However, Superman did start a line of thought in the human mind that I am very hungry to see re-invented in this new Christopher Nolan film

I found your article compelling, and then you put it in one of your comments! I, too, believe, that Man is infinitely resourceful, heroic. There are heroes everywhere in a free place. But important heroes emerge in times of conflict and less freedom. I imagine this movie will be a bestseller (like the 30s comic), because people hope and crave. A few know how to forge. Just wait til we see JG do that on the screen

Wow! I have to watch the whole thing. The dialogue so far is quite intriguing... :)
By the way, I just placed an order for more books from B&N. Tail of the Dragon was on the list! I am looking forward to it. :)

Interesting idea, but that is not the context here. Superman is NOT a communist undertaking. He is a man that stands alone against everything. That is not a communist.
