One of my fears has been that the Marxists will push their agenda so hard that there would be calls for reprisals.

Some people say that Schlichter's piece is tongue-in-cheek.
I see it as "Ha, ha. Only serious"

To me, this piece, along with another piece I've read this weekend, is the first murmuring for reprisals.

    I think the article means, "Once we abandon the law, look where this road leads."

    What the author is describing was once called a "banana republic" or "tin-pot dictatorship."
    I am pretty sure the entire piece is sarcasm, not a call for conservatives to set aside the rule of law, like the GOP has been doing for 155 years.
