    Actually, many of these were not "my" choices. As I recall the article from about 1977, the best casting I knew of for the time was offered in the pages of "The Libertarian Connection" by Mike Hoy, later the founder of Loompanics. Probably the deepest reader I ever worked with, he offered Ron Ely, Lee Marvin, and Broderick Crawford. But he was not alone. Everyone has their favorites.

    Interesting. The scene where Dagny is in her John Galt Line office and Galt is outside pacing back and forth is perfect for that. Also, the scene where Galt seeks out Rearden (having learned about Rearden and Dagny from Eddie in the cafeteria), has Galt hiding in the shadows as Rearden leaves a business meeting at night.

    See my comments to EconomicFreedom. If you really care to do this, and have the talent, nothing is stopping you. As above, I like the Art Deco "steampunk" design theme. That has been suggested by another regular, also. It would be faithful to the period, but set in a timeline different from our history.

    Interesting choices, EF. Sorry to see you take three hits. It must be for something else, entirely. I think that new technologies in animation and graphics will let any talented person make their own versions of whatever they want, starring whomever they want. You must know the parody of Edward Hopper's "Nighthhawks" with Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, and Humphrey Bogart.

    Back in the 1970's Al Ruddy Successful Producer of The Godfather was to Produce AS there was a lot of Cast Speculation but only by me as far as I knew. If it had happened I always favored James Franciscus (1934-1991) for a number of reasons. Wikipedia and/or IMDB for more info. Now Josh Holloway would be a good choice due to his resemblance to James Franciscus. All of your Cast Choices are excellent.

    that's a pretty hefty cast right there. I like it!
    I'm looking up the newer references. I don't know those actors. fun. thanks. it's a little depressing over on the other posts right now
