I first read Atlas Shrugged in 1969. It took me 6 months(it required some study). I realized that this was where I had been evolving as a teen in my ideas. I have since reread Atlas several times and read select passages over. In addition, though some think it is a contradiction, I became a member of the Libertarian Party in 1971 and lifetime member in 1974. I enjoy listening to Yaron Brook on video as well as other objectivists. I was a fan also of Robert Heinlein especially his novel "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress". I enjoyed reading Murray Rothbard. I have been a subscriber to Reason Magazine since 1971 also. I tend to read about a thousand pages a week and have since high school in the 60's. I had several businesses in 70's and 80's. I attended the University of Texas at Arlington majoring in chemistry. Which later lead to 20 years in plastics. I'm now retired and procuring silver for the crash that is soon to come. I live on a small farm in Waxahachie, Tx and have another farm in Canton, Tx.
