Well for science class I could use it to occupy the kids imaginations for a few minutes.
Possibly if it was powerful enough it could be used as removable glue for metals. Quite interesting.

  I thought of two things. Depending how well-polarized it can be, it would work wonders for body armor. Also, it could revolutionize the medical industry if it could be properly sterilized.
