In addition to the information presented in the article on Obama's EO raising the minimum wage for Federal contract workers, note the organization, "Demos." This is likely the second most important liberal think-tank and source of policy ideas for the Obama administration behind the Center for American Progress.

    You know, you raise an interesting point. Just how many people work directly for the Federal government and how many as contracted employees? I assume the office of Budget and Management has these figures, but I've never tried to look them up. Might be an interesting search!
