        1. first of all, look at the example of pilgrims. When they pooled their labor-half died of starvation in the 1st year. When they quit being a "collective" they began to thrive.
        2. creation is the source of property rights, not production. the law recognizing the metaphysical-you created therefore, you are the owner.
        3. Force is not the intiator of protection. Force is a retaliation of theiving.

          Europeans began farming roughly 10,000 years ago. By the time the Pilgrims got here, they had thousands of years of law making from the Babylonians, Romans, English, and others to fall back on.
          The main purpose of these early farmers was to survive, Production of crops was primary.to their survival. Protection from theives was necessary to that survival. Armed force was the only way to keep their crops - their property.
