Corruption can be found at all levels of government (and business.) Power corrupts, no one is immune. No one should be naively trusted. Protection of privately owned property is one of the few valid reasons for government to exist. In this instance, and in many others, government is part of the cause instead of part of the solution.

Really makes sense of the "government equals destruction" saying. What a mess with a pretty well stated dissent.
