    I know that the procedure in the book has not been done on a person. I tried to look up Cheney's heart procedure, but he has had almost every single one including a transplant and a valve replacement.

    I try to keep a positive attitude. :) It helps when possible to keep things light. One thing I have learned from all of my studies of the great philosophers is that the more you understand of the nature of man and this world, the more pessimistic and cynical you are likely to become... I resist as much as possible. I will paraphrase something I remember from a character from one of Voltaire's works. When asked if he would rather be blissfully happy like his uninformed neighbor, he responded, "that is not the kind of happiness I desire." If one does not dwell on the absurdity and ignorance of the world and allows equal opportunity for the beauty it is much easier. :)

    In regards to the invention, and correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Dick Cheney have this procedure? It seems to be tugging at something I've read about recently.

    It also strikes me how many people just don't understand, whether willingly or from just plain ignorance, that if a willingness to be an entrepreneur, inventor or venture capitalist is repeatedly bludgeoned by punitive regulations and taxes, it will go elsewhere. Thus crushing any free market flow of money, ideas and economic prosperity across all fields.

    You two were great! The host....nyuk. I don't think these people really understand the government cronyism that's going on and that one guy kind excused it with..."corruption always happens when people are involved"...or whatever he said. The old 'What can ya do...' kind of crap.
    Anyway.. I hope to hear you two in more interviews and hoping you have the couch to yourself. Anything else lined up?
