Ragnar Danneskjöld is returning from rough seas for Atlas Shrugged Part III: Who is John Galt?

Plus, with your help, he’ll be making an appearance in the Atlas Shrugged movie store as well. We KNOW Ragnar is deserving of some great gear; unfortunately, there isn’t a logo befitting a philosopher turned pirate. Not yet anyway.

The “Atlas Shrugged: Who is John Galt?” production team invites you to design the logo for "Danneskjöld Collections" or "Danneskjöld Repossessions." Share your vision with us, and we’ll select the logo that best represents Ragnar and his mission. The winning Danneskjöld logo will be used in the Atlas Shrugged movie and on Atlas Shrugged movie merchandise. Plus, the winning design will receive $500.

For a full design brief and to submit your logo concept, please visit: http://99designs.com/logo-design/contest...

Submissions are due by Monday, January 13th.

GO.

Okay, so the RR won't work. (Silly rules) Just put 'Dannesjold' on top and 'Collections' on bottom; everything else the same.

Instead of a logo, I found myself coming up with an acronym:

    Lost city (Galt's Gulch) + ship =... A.T.L.A.N.T.I.S.

Against The Looting And the Nefarious Tyrrany It Serves.

Perhaps not the best wording, & just a passing thought ;]

Absolutely. It's a key moment in the story, as it shows the point where Hank Rearden starts to think about the strikers, though he does not know it yet.

The only trouble with putting that scene in a movie: each of us has our own vision of it from reading the book (true of most great literary scenes). Whatever is filmed is unlikely to fit what most of us hold in our imaginations. It is, however an essential scene.

A brief follow-up to that. How about a Galt's Gulch gold coin set visibly into the grip?

Allied Danneskjold Recompensation and International, Financial Transaction company. (ADRIFTco.). Logo is said wording in a ring around a center logotype artwork: a pair of pirate's curved cutalsses in the background behind a large, sleek modern vessel (preferrably the one used for his ship in the movie) with a outlined dollar sign in "outlined" high metallic gold font superimposed over the front.

Sorry, I don't have my cadcam up and running (server backing up - arrghhh!) and I don't know what you're using for his ship, but the description is pretty self explanatory.

While the initials spell "Adrift" (representing cutting the looters adrift) it would not appear in initial form on the logotype - face it, Ragnar is to brilliant to resort to that, realizing a wise person would make the connection without it thrown in their face.

Am not a graphic artist. But it seems appropriate to share our company motto with you'all.

"When the law becomes a tyrant the good man becomes an outlaw."

This motto is on our trade booth banner. We are Lost Sierra Mining Co., a small gold mining co. and vendor of mining equipment. Mine is in a remote region called the Lost Sierra.
