And the republican joke fest begins

The circus has begun. Soon the infighting will commence and those who are decent among the republicans will be dropping out of the race, leaving us with the typical vermin to choose from. This nations government so desperately needs a colonic that the toxic sludge would likely kill everything in a 1000 mile radius.

Trump? Graham? Huckabee? Rubio? Christie? Pataki? Santorum? BUSH!?

This isn't a game, all the chips are on the table for the future of MY NATION. This is nothing less than disgusting.

    Still the Congress has the Constitutional authority to issue regulations to all military which sort of trumps the other two opinion documents. There are no other levels absent an amendment. Context is useful and needed. It is not law.

    Article one Section Eight

    "To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces;

    To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;

    To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;"

    And many other duties.

    Which is why Department of Defense Regulations trump the lower levels and why the federal government pays 95% on average of the National Guard budget. All approved or required by Congress.

    You are wrong on many levels. The context at the time of "well regulated" has nothing to do with Congressional regulations. "well regulated" at the time would be supplanted by "well equipped" or "well supplied" today. Meaning the people should have access to the best military-grade weapons. Especially if they need to form a militia to take on a foreign, or domestic, army - whether federal or a state. You should read the Federalist and Anti-federalist Papers to know the context. This was one area they agreed on.

    Nope. As AJ above demonstrates, even Atlas people are part of the false left/right paradigm. There are only 2 things that could make a difference. A "None of the above" on the ballot would be one way. Or, if everyone stopped voting for Democrats and Republicans. And that, as evidenced by even people here, will never happen.

    Too much serious pontificating and time for some humor. Some may wonder why there isn't a thread for Democrat Joke Fests. They have no sense of humor and are not funny. Nothing about them is funny. Except the long ears.Except for their VP. That's nothing. He's a clown. The rest are a joke. I now declare the 2015 Democrat Joke Fest over.and invite you to re-runs in 2016. If you didn't get it this time yiou won't get it a year from now but you WILL get in 2017. BOHICA!

    Smile it's not taxable...so far.

    and enhanceable.

    I wonder what clown thought that one up.

    The VP?

    Never happen. Word has four sylables.

    nothing hard about it. In politics if they are Democrat or Republican they seek total control over citizens. That's the definition of left wing and likewise the defintion of evil. If you find that difficult there are two books I'd recommend Das Kapital and Mein Kampf. Same philosophy same kind of people

    Next we'll do Humor.

    ixnay he was touted as a Consitutional Centrist Libertarian and still came out as a Republican in favor of left wing socialist fascist income tax. not even close. Mark him lesser of two evils for pandering and waffling.

    Rand Paul is the only one of the bunch I would consider voting for. It would be a completely unexpected sign of improving national health if we ended up with a contest between Rand Paul and Hilary Clinton. At least for once it would not be Tweedledee vs Tweedledum with only rhetorical differences.

    They were all Political Science but mostly in International Relations. I would think it helped the Professors as much as it did the students given her ability to contact people who worked in the field not to mention quotes from some of the senior staff. I would suspect a book deal next.

    Four degrees Bachelor and Masters from Stanford, Second Masters and Doctorate from Oxford. Did not take time out to visit Moscow. Employed by the Chelsea Clinton something or another Fund to combat infant deaths by diarrhea, fund recently in trouble over a 500 million dollar donation. flashed up at the same time. Occasionally part time employment. no real work record but is close to being a Mommy. which makes Hillary what a Great Great....lost count. This does not count the honorary degrees if any. Professional Student? does that count? On the other hand I'd bet she can quote the constitution far better than what's his name.

    Being touted elsewhere in this group as a Constitutional Centrist or Libertarian or something he was quoted today as a Republican who wants to change the income tax code to a flat tax income tax code. Three strikes your out. Income tax is fascist socialist tax to control an individuals money. Any form of it changes nothing. And apparently he 's not an acceptable whatever he's a Republican which makes him straight up left wing..

    Had he said Libertarian in favor of an end user consumption tax that's one thing. But this guy is XXXXXXXXX'd off my list as another phony.

    Third doctorate for Chelsea?? I don't believe it. If it were true, the media would be referring to her as Dr. Clinton.

    I don't support them at all. I was simply pointing out that Trump can't "throw his money behind another candidate" without risking criminal prosecution. So he won't do it.
