And the republican joke fest begins
The circus has begun. Soon the infighting will commence and those who are decent among the republicans will be dropping out of the race, leaving us with the typical vermin to choose from. This nations government so desperately needs a colonic that the toxic sludge would likely kill everything in a 1000 mile radius.
Trump? Graham? Huckabee? Rubio? Christie? Pataki? Santorum? BUSH!?
This isn't a game, all the chips are on the table for the future of MY NATION. This is nothing less than disgusting.

But, I would say, relative to foreign affairs and military engagement, would he defer to the experts.
In this sense, experts would be the military, and "scholars" familiar with geopolitical situations.
I think Trump is very smart and capable, but how knowledgeable is he on Central Europe history (for example)
No doubt better than Obama.
Trump also strikes me as the type that would get bored easily and lose interest. Out source the Presidency so he can do season 12 of The Apprentice.
"Politicians" make a career of this, and want to create a name for themselves. Trump doesn't need to do this. If it got old, he'd go do something else. Presidency is like having a kid, you own it until it turns 18. you have to feed it and wipe its bum, like it or not.
that's what concerns me about him.
So far, Rand Paul is my preference. He has warts, but I can work around them.

That being said, *his* argument assumes *he* is smarter than all those self-styled experts put together.
He's not currently in my top five because of his positions on welfare and SS (he wants to keep them), but he does see the problem of government interference in business and peoples' daily lives and wants to reduce it. He also espoused a great view on foreign diplomacy and "the Art of the Deal" which made a lot of sense. He also is willing to defend the Second Amendment, so I have to give him props for that.
I have an interesting scenario: Trump can fund his own candidacy, so the circus begins; but suppose Trump gets disgusted, decides it isn't a productive use of his time, and decides to throw his money behind another candidate he likes, just to undermine the established fossils?
We had that with Carter, and Obama.
He's a smart guy, and I think he's very capable. But, will he defer to the experts when it matters? I sort of think he might, but, I dunno.
Plus from comments I've read on Yahoo news, apparently having a "comb-over" means you're not qualified for the job.
I'll still stand with Rand.
Anyone but the Crypt Keeper.
I do not lace and feather the the whole group. Just the one mentioned and that is both, a Democrat and a Republican joke and one of the main planks of the Government Party. In the context of our times.
Infifighting is nothing more than carefully scripted street theater to keep your attention on the immaterial and irrelevant. I see nothing in that list of names to waste time.
Are any leaders left in the country?
Any at all?
Do they exist?
Civilian or military?
Are their any in the ranks of the what's it called Blue Dog Democrats or Republicans? If so why are they Democrats and Republicans? I think not. I see no evidence of such.
Or is it over?
If so...let's talk about serious issues like a new name USSA is being bandied about the world and certainly deserves consideration. Or a new flag? I seem to remember Comrade Hillary had a design for one..
Is that what'it's come down too?
Written with a very bitter tasting tongue in cheek as a parody of reality versus wishful thinking.
Sometimes the Fiction Of Reality is harder to accept than the Reality of Fiction. But sooner or later acceptance is required.
I''m in a disgusted mood this morning. Paulo Angelo shall return after my second cup of coffee
