Some things bear repeating, since new articles appear and there is no real Gulch Greatest Hits here for new arrivals.

That statement has been attributed to Mussolini at various times with no evidence he actually said it. What he did say on many occasions is the state and the Fascist Party do not merge with anything but take complete control of everything. He used corporatism as a way of describing the really big money people that funded the party and the statists whether they liked it or not. Fascist Economics has been accurately described as socialist economics with a thin patina of capitalism overlaid and controlled completely by government. Reference is just about everything google and wikpedia have to offer. Benito was a main stream socialist and ran with people like Lenin until he broke from the International (Communists) and formed the Fascist Party the name of which has come to mean government controls society by any and all means necessary. It can and has been used by many forms of politics, corporations themselves and religious organizations. I thought we went through this just a few months ago?

"Fascism should more appropriately be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power.” - Benito Mussolini
