Wait for the hypocritical outcry!

NAACP leader pretends to be black. Why is there outrage on the left? She obviously must feel like an African American inside. So why the outrage? If she felt like a man inside they would elevate her to hero status.

Have you read Griffin's Black Like Me? If methoxsalen were not considered a class 1 carcinogen, it would be a remarkable and amusing solution to the racial problem: Decide what race you want to be for the next few months, the same way you can dye your hair a new color. (That sounds a bit confusing: methoxsalin is not a dye - it actually turns your skin black upon exposure to UV.)

Then, anyone can reveal their 'inner black'

I find myself being on the same side as the NAACP. (Lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my!) If the proof is undeniable, she plain out lied. There is no going back when a lie is discovered. Truth is that which pertains to reality. She has subverted her reality in order to achieve her goal, not by entirely by achievement but by hereditary status.

The whole concept of the NAACP is racist. Imagine a NAAWP. It would be DOA.

Although I don't know why one would have to be black to be in the NAACP, but because it is probably a racist organization, you might not get elected as a leader if you weren't.

Anyone else wonder why they don't change the name of NAACP, since "colored people" is now considered inappropriate?

Good post. Ever since I was a burgeoning self aware, thinking young lad, I always cocked my head in confusion at the term "colored person" Who the hell isn't colored?

Nobody is black. Nobody is white. Nobody is yellow, nobody is red. We're all various shades of super light tan to deep dark brown with everything in between.

"We're all from the African continent." Doesn't that really say it all, and reveal the truism that, "It isn't what you ARE that holds you back, it's what you THINK you ARE NOT"?
The sad thing is that Obama is in a unique position to show American blacks how the power of knowledge could give them legitimate political power. But having virtually no American black experience, except that learned from sermons by Rev. Wright, he really doesn't care. So he's happy to shortcut the process, resulting in power without knowledge - a very dangerous thing.

This sentence sounds like a joke: "Dolezal also lied about growing up in a teepee, hunting for her own food with bows and arrows".

The NYT article says she began portraying herself as black after "the family" adopted four children with dark skin. Does the family mean her parents? If so, maybe she had some kind of sibling jealousy over the attention their skin color brought? It also says she's estranged from her parents. The MSN article says she portrayed her dark-skinned "adopted brother" as her son.

If her parents adopted African American kids during the time she was going that Identity-vs-Role Confusion stage, maybe she adopted an African American persona. If my uninformed guess is true, it's a sad personification of our culture's focus on racial grouping.

Maybe in the past attention seekers attributed fame to media gatekeepers who had the power to make people stars. Media is being democratized and the gatekeeepers are less important. Attention seekers and performers know they *could* become famous if they do things that get attention. If they don't get attention, they can't blame it on gatekeepers b/c other people get famous without them. The result of this is we hear from more attention-seekers.

down at the end did it say. If we only had more funds to study this or more perSONally to use a sexist word how much are they Su Ing Fo? (Chinese slur) If there is a way to make a dime Al Bore will be on it like white on rice. Damn now I've made choice food racist. I suppose that let's out Dirty Rice as an ethnic slur on Cajuns.

Yet every government form - up near the top - requires racist and sexist information.

Bret, now Chelsey Manning got the government to pay for his transgender change. One old boy thought his arm didn't belong to him and managed to cut it off. Even I once in a while indulge my recollection reinforcement and get drunk to remind myself why I quit drinking. Now that's my responsibility alone. I'd never take on the persona of a drunk for fun and profit like Dolezal has demonstrated with her denial of her cultural heritage. Not saying that she does have some identity issues, but if she's not, well she's missing a helluva good chance to have 'em.

Melissa Harris-Perry on Rachel Dolezal: ‘It Is Possible That She Might Actually Be Black?’
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsNWHpld...

It's all over now. You can't argue with someone if reality is defined as what they feel it is or identify with. It's pointless to even make a statement when progressives judge you on not what you actually said but what they feel you meant.

I don't care. Merely asking the question as does the Federal Government is racist. It's a non starter like a Democrat complaining about someone else's sex life or military service ad infinitum ad nauseum.

Tell me something substantive and germane to the issue. What is their voting record? What are their public statements? What have they done to prove the statements are followed by action and deed? How do those line up with my own beliefs on the core subjects of interest. Starting with a return to using the Constitution and a multi party system of government. Getting rid of income tax in ANY form at ALL levels. Applying the draft laws to women or banning the entire procedure as unconstitutional. No more cannon fodder, no more baby factories.
And establishing the Recall nation wide.
Cleaning up the money laundering of tax dollars to campaign funds for incumbents.

How likely are they to either move their party in that direction

      Etc. etc. etc.

The rest is just uninteresting, boring, business as establishment usual BS

Because the NAACP has turned from what it was to little more than a RICO enterprise. Interested only in collecting Hush Money and tribute. Having one more scam artist is something that they should embrace because she has no compunction about lying and making money in the process. Stupid is as stupid does!

Cause it doesn't fit their narrative, and she's white! White liberals hate themselves...that's why the hate you!...they themselves are the true racist!

The NAACP got part of it right in their response when they said, essentially, a supporter of civil rights doesn't have to be a person of color. However, the fact that they supported a pathological liar is troubling.

Especially since those same people celebrated blacks trying to pass for white. And some of them celebrated women trying to pass for men.
