both TPP and TISA, a "trade in services act" which
covers about three dozen countries' interactions,
have implications all the way into immigration.

    and today, Friday, they have voted down the first of
    this series of bills. . Josh Earnest says, "Wait until
    next Tuesday -- we'll try again." . hope they fail !!! -- j

    He has had a few foibles and inconsistencies. Still, among so many rats on Capitol hill, he not among the most objectionable.

    I saw Paul Ryan on the news last night. He reported that they were adding an amendment which precluded any immigration provisions in the trade bill.
    I am all for open trade in principle, but these idiots in Washington can't/never negotiate a fair deal or enforce the provisions that would make it so, like currency manipulation...

    And now we find out why none of the senators and Congressmen can seriously look into TPP legislation. This is not at all surprising.
