I like the technology but I agree that the free market should decide its fate. I hope the government doesn't start subsidizing it.

The battery is, to my knowledge, the first of its kind that absorbs solar energy and is able to store it for long periods of time without solar recharge. Yes its expensive now, but it will lessen over time and with perfecting of the technology. I'm no expert, but I wouldn't knock it quite yet.

Legit overpriced answer to a problem already solved by inexpensive generators.
