So not only is this cop unapologetic for 'murdering' in the name of the state, an unarmed young man in a diabetic crash, but 6 years later he gets into a Facebook attack on the victim's family.

What would an Objectivist society do in such a case by the Objectivist police force? Would that force have even been involved in this situation?

I'd say that, probably, the cop was correct in shooting, tho' there may have been other options apparent if he were properly trained.
I disagree with kh- a professional police officer takes the good and the bad on the chin, yes he is acting from anger and twisted regret, but he should have self-control, more evidence of poor training, and poor help given by the employer to the cop after trauma.

Yes, because in his combative state, he got behind the wheel. The officer clearly suffers here. He is acting out in anger and his twisted sense of regret. That 's just my opinion. How awful and sad for the family.
