Well done. I enjoyed that. I understand what she was saying about Star Trek, but I see Star Trek to be entirely too socialist. After all, the government in Star Trek is the Federation.
Rather, I think Star Wars is much more of an Objectivist oriented story. There is some altruism in there with the Jedi, but often it is their commitment to it that causes their failures. The galaxy in Star Wars is VERY capitalist and its not presented as evil. Dedication to systems are the evil in Star Wars. But Star Trek always make me feel kind of sick because of their emphasis on the "greater good."
