The Cherohala Skyway

The video at the article shows what I think is one of the most amazing roads in the world. It is an engineering marvel and the views are fantastic.

When I think of places like The Cherohala Skyway I think of freedom in its purist form.

    Thanks. You can bet that the book is a bit more "extreme." Readers deserve something if they are going to buy the book. : )

    "Tail of the Dragon" is on my wish list! I just got a shipment in (six new books) so it will have to be on my next order. If it reads like your contributions here, I am sure it will be a delight.

    Yes, there were a lot of those trips while writing. Good stuff. The trips were more to flee from mankind's sense of collectivism than anything else, to escape the grip of consensus. Motorcycles have a great way of doing that.

    My copy of "Tail of the Dragon" has shipped... along with the Skull, Don't Tread On Me flag :) What a nice video of the making of um, 5 pages of your novel...
