A good friend of mine was in Iraq as a soldier. He reported a similar experience with the kids when he was on patrol. They ran up to him and kissed the American flag on his uniform. The reason? - because they felt safe when the US soldiers were in the streets.. He too saw unimaginable atrocities. He was lucky and came back whole - expect for his PTSD. He is better now. Obama is full of so much BS that I now don't trust a word he says. He is a narcissistic liar.

Of course, this letter probably rates about a 1.2 out of 10 on Obama's Give-A-Shit-O-Meter. Sad but almost certainly true.

My daughter has a friend who attended West Point. When Obama gave a speech before the cadets (early in his first term), the cadets were told with firmness to not make a sound while he was on stage. It was known that the cadets had contempt for him, and the administration was afraid they would show that contempt.
