I hope some of you got to participate in the Atlas Society Webinar this evening - VERY good information brought forth, and it really showed we *do* have people who care, not just about Objectavism, but how to bring society back from the brink in an onbjectivist, not socialistic, manner. That we had so many remain that deep into the broadcast gives me REAL (**not** obamist) hope. Thaks to all those who put this on, and we hope that this is but the first of many!

The Atlas Society is dedicated to Ayn's philosophy of: Reason, Achievement, Individualism and Freedom...what her goals were in writing AS... the education system, the younger (under 29 yrs old) generation believes in socialism rather than capitalism. Galt's Gulch was a temporary place to go and then return to society to rebuild, all the other community projects using the gulch name, but not her ideas... Chile, Citadel, seasteading, Glenn Beck...... it was very interesting and I hope this is an ongoing project for the Gulch members here :) A question and answer period at the end and many more things I have forgotten already :) Thank You Aaron Day and Will Thomas, for the webinar and your ongoing work to educate us all with Ayn's philosophy :)

You forgot the outer space option! I've read various Scifi novels about such things, setting up a colony at a LaGrange point... of course, the main issue is the technology to do such a thing; we're probably about 10 years + off from something like that. The hardest issues are Duplicating the effect of gravity in a pseudo-environment, and protection from solar storms/CME events.

That and the capitalization issues brought up - any ideas put forth require a sufficient amount of capital to start off, let alone bring to fruition.

I won't talk about the disneyland thing... ;)
