Something profound said by my daughter

Last night, my daughter and I were talking about money, and its uses. She said, not having read AS yet, I like the idea of trade, of exchanging something, like value for value, of usefulness to each. I almost burst with pride!! I literally got up, whooped and did a happy dance, followed up with a huge hug. I then explained to her that she summarized perfectly what John Galt was doing with the Gulch, and what Ayn Rand lived and breathed. A=A!

Really smart kid. Too bad she will fail in college - unless she attends Hillsdale where she will be a superstar.

She turned 15 today. She's sharp, and asks questions all the time. Plus, whenever the opportunity presents itself, I use that as a means to teach, and ask her what her thoughts are. :-)

How old is your daughter, NMA? It sounds like she has learned well from you and has a good mind of her own.
