Something profound said by my daughter

Last night, my daughter and I were talking about money, and its uses. She said, not having read AS yet, I like the idea of trade, of exchanging something, like value for value, of usefulness to each. I almost burst with pride!! I literally got up, whooped and did a happy dance, followed up with a huge hug. I then explained to her that she summarized perfectly what John Galt was doing with the Gulch, and what Ayn Rand lived and breathed. A=A!

My daughter is only 6 and feels much like your daughter. I got my daughter already showing bucket calves and chickens in her second year showing now teaching her responsibility and to be productive . At her young age she already sees how her hard efforts pays off. Last fall she won best in showmanship in clover kids.

I thought back to the critically flawed Warren Report and agreed with her critique. Big time hug.
Around the same age she came up with the idea of seeing $19.99 and saying $20.00. The crowning touch was picking up an old 45rpm record with a puzzled look, "I didn't know you had hard floppy discs in the old days!"
Without realizing I had been teaching her critical observation and thinking by setting an example.
