This is cool, and is something the militray needs to look into for insertion operations. Make them of radar transparent material and it's good. Probably sucks if the jets fail though...

    I was thinking by parachute but they must have to use the jets to slow the landing too. Seems like it would be kind of heavy for a single chute. Maybe not?

    Oh, Oh, OOH, I want one and now I have to get a bigger bucket.

    This takes me back to my youth when I could fly jumping off of a shed roof with a sheet, or out of the top of a tree into a tangle of possom grape vines, or launched from a bent over sapling when the other 8 guys let go. But this--what a feeling of freedom it must provide!

    Yea, that seems to be a bit of a limiter, unless they have perfected a way to push up and reduce the thrust so they can land safely.
