They were offering up to $179K for a position in NC that's first requirement was you were to be a US citizen. Although eventually it got down to technical requirements-there was no mention of a scientific background. Just a detailed description of past experience developing programs that reduced emissions or conserved energy. Of course you had to have lots of experience proving that your programs did this effectively. $179K. amazing

The first was just completed not to long ago. Now that they realize.. "Hey this could work".. They've started to build the secondary site.
I'm wondering just how much they had to pay, and what kind of things they had to do to finally get this pushed through.
But then again in NC if you can produce your own energy, and pump the remaining to the power grid, you can actually get paid for it.

I know the area well. Not too far away is a wood burning power plant and many burn wood to heat their homes. Perhaps if electricity was cheaper... But nooo...
