Or if I'd kept this one. Mine was a GT, not the GTA so it's much harder to find, and mine was red like this one, although I put lifters on the rear and mine was a 390: http://cars.oodle.com/detail/1966-ford-f...
Yeah, and back then, you didn't want to be the geek at the bar/club lugging one of those things around...King Nerd of Technology didn't win many chicks back then.
The government is the master of obfuscation. How they skew the numbers is a work of Machiavellian proportion. How can this coincide with a reported reduction in unemployment and avoid scrutiny by the MSM? http://www.examiner.com/article/unemploy...
I always loved their performance and looks, but back in the seventies the interiors always fell apart on the ones I was familiar with. The glove boxes would never stay shut and the ashtrays fell out and emptied themselves on the carpet while the trim fell off in other places... usually just a little extra TLC was in order. Still I would trade a toe or two for a 69 Charger today!
When I was a roadie I had a 73 Monte Carlo. Now that had a trunk. I could put half the band's gear in there and still hear an echo... :) I have always been a GM guy... four Monte Carlos over the years... I can't help it... Nothing more disappointing than that bailout...
I haven't heard that in forever. I gave my nephew in law a bass amp and it just barely squeezed into the truck of their Camero and it wasn't a very big amp either.
Yeah, what happened to trunks? Have you seen the new Mustang trunks? Maybe there is room for a bottle of the Captain in there but not much else... From 78... I remember it so well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csmfoNEY8...
