another drive by rant against Rand. This one at least shows desperation and I can almost smell the author's fear

I believe this publication, The Conversation' originates from my neck of the woods, Australia; just as well I do not have any sense of shame! The lefty political class bias is explained by the restriction on contributors being academics. There is a big amount of government money in it, much is indirect from universities most of which here are state owned. The article itself (with at least one spelling mistake!) shows none of the rigor that we used to think would be a product of academia.

"Rand also disliked any situation over which she couldn’t exercise personal control."
Did the author make this up from whole cloth? I haven't read much about her beyond what Greenspan said in his book. It doesn't ring true.

It simply proves one of the maxims about business: it's easy to speak about anything in which you don't know or understand little about.

"A scorn toward and demonization of any simple caring of other human beings".
No one who has read anything by Rand could possibly make such a stupid statement.
