Remember the bag controversy at Chipotle? They had some crazy feel good saying on them. That place should have been filled with Hillary loons. I'm guessing this was staged. Customers were probably asked to pretend they didn't recognize her.
Glad I didn't read that before I went to bed. I would see no reason to talk to her but there are some out there who worship her. At least that is what we have been told.
Rich, she is the "Chosen One" just ask her. Might make a good anti Hillary campaign, just look what happened with the last "Chosen One", he messed up them Jedi...
Rich, I really don't thinks so, I am betting she was waiting to hear cheers and "Hail to the Chieftess". Her road trip is going to be a bust at this rate, good thing...
When Bill ran they really controlled everything. This is starting off terrible. I saw her talking yesterday about why she was running and it looked like she had a hard time remembering the answers.
Not that I'm at all skeptical of Hillary, but it occurs to me that this could have been scripted in advance and went exactly as planned, appropriate to her "I'm just a regular person" new image (that would would "new image" #641 and counting)..
"See I went into Chipotle as just a regular person, and no one noticed me"...
Then how did it get to this forum, and all over the MSM...
Because we are mainly suspicious of looters trying to hide their real selves, and the sheep that vote for them. Hillary is definitely a Looter, hasn't "worked" ever.
I still contend that, while IF in the end she is the nominee the MSM will fall into line and give her their usual full-bore, obfuscating, fawning support, she's made a ton of enemies, including many in the MSM. I don't think her path to the nomination will be a free ride.
Since the Chiplotle article posted here, I've seen reports in the regular press about her "fibbing" about all of her grandparents being immigrants (only 1 of 4 was actually born outside the US). Her spokesperson's explanation: "Her grandparents always spoke about the immigrant experience and, as a result she has always thought of them as immigrants,"
A "spontaneous" meeting in a coffee house, where a participant told an interviewer after the fact: "...that campaign staffer Troy Price called and asked him and two other young people to meet him Tuesday morning at a restaurant in Davenport, a nearby city. Price then drove them to the coffee house to meet Clinton after vetting them for about a half-hour.” Her team's explanation, after-the-fact: "the campaign never told the press this particular group just happened to meet Clinton"...
And although I first read it on Fox, the NYT followed up on a story showing Hillary had ignored specific, detailed, requests by both Congress and the State Department about her use of private email for government business, long before she "deleted" it:
None of this may derail her nomination, and it's still a lot of little things, but they are being reported consistently, and before she's even gotten off the ground in Iowa...
There were gazillions of people there. Unfortunately, they were all media and Dem. operatives. Typical radio/TV announcer: Here's her van! It's Hillary, it's Hillary! Look at that! It's Hillary, here she comes!! Etc, etc, ad nauseum. I think the announcer had to make a quick trip to the nearest bathroom. Perhaps he went to Chipotle.
Maybe I could run against her from home on the internet without ever going out. I could find a really good looking persons picture that I could post as myself and run on the idea that voters should not be swayed by meeting someone. They should elect the best qualified person by the facts, not by their appearance. As Nancy would say, you gotta elect me so you can find out what I'll do after I win.
Hillary shouldn't stand a chance if the people actually ask her to give them specific examples of her accomplishments, not just activities and a list of the committees she's been on. Ask her what her specific accomplishments on those committees were. Ask her what specific actions she took to prevent our people in Benghazi from getting murdered. Then ask her specifically what went wrong, and what did she change to prevent a reoccurrence of that same scenario.
Neal, your mistake: "Hillary shouldn't stand a chance if the people actually ask her to give them specific examples of her accomplishments, not just activities and a list of the committees she's been on. Ask her what her specific accomplishments on those committees were. Ask her what specific actions she took to prevent our people in Benghazi from getting murdered. " You think A: Any one would ever mentin the word "specific" to a politician, let alone Hillary? B: That the sheep in America actually could keep track of what "really" happened? Hillary would just spin another bag of lies and say she is the "Chosen One" and we all know how that turned out for the Jedi.
Yah, maybe she'll play to her constituents, those that will vote for her no matter what. If she continues to hide and continues to avoid those with questions perhaps she will not get their votes. Shhhh, don't tell her, she's got to figure something out for herself eventually.
I am disgusted that American media promotes the likes of Hillary. She is a self-serving reincarnation of Nixon. We had to impeach him to get him and his lying and hiding of things OUT. We sure dont want to have to do that again. If she cant even let us see her work related emails for fear we might not like them- what kind of president would she make with her finger on the nuclear button.
Especially without the tons of makeup they have put on her recently. I remember when she was secretary of state- she looked pretty bad. Now the press has dredged up highly retouched and made up pics to show her young (again) and full of fire to historically change the country. What crap.
When Bubba was first running, they were trying a new look for her every week. My girlfriend used to look at the pictures and say, "You know, they've got the best stylists on the planet, and THAT'S the best they can do?"
The van trip reminds me of Imelda Marcus during her trial in NYC. She would always ride the subway to court, until she paid off enough lawyers and judges to be aquitted - then it was back to limos and jets.
Thats funny. They are like celebrities concerned with their appearances and reputation. Doesnt work on me, though, and I hope it wont work on the voters in the quiet of the voting booth. Its important to get a good president this time. We cant afford another Obama. After all, the president has his finger on the nuclear button, if not the whole financial system with the federal reserve
