Replacing RINO

I've considered the term "RINO" misapplied for awhile now. Progressive, establishment Republicans are the "norm" of the party, with conservatives as that relative you keep in the attic bedroom so you can collect his social security check.

I'm going to stop calling them "RINOs" and begin calling them, "Banana Republicans".

It fits with their politics, their agenda, and their rhetoric.

    That was my point; what I and conservatives somewhat similar to me (nobody this side of Bellevue is LIKE me) have been calling RINOs, are the "real" Republicans.

    I think you just insulted all bananas. Kidding aside when a political part has a majority of its members calling themselves Republicans then the party is the Republican party. the fact that their current philosophy is not that of the founders or of any of the past major players is irrelevant to the name.
    What really needs to happen a a third party need to be created and absord the current republicans replacing them with a party that values the peoples individual rights and liberties and the constitution as the founders intended.
