If there was a racial outcry, beyond a few sentences mentioning race, the article does not link to it. It makes it look like Brooke Bosca is the one focused on race.

The kid was black and a thug. I found the article in other places where it had a picture of the boy. You can't expect accurate reporting from AP.

I sure wish someone worthy had received this heart, and if they had followed protocol, this would have been true. A couple of times I have written a letter for a patient attesting to their mouth health and their responsibility so they can be put on a kidney transplant list.
But, of course, race trumps logic, reason, and facts!!
