The talks have reached the deadline. But they didn't fail; we've simply entered a new phase of negotiation!

So now when you're three payments behind on you Lexus, you can just explain to the bank that you don't owe them anything...you've simply entered a new phase of payment!

    It would be delicious, but they've already been fooled so often, totally lost on them.

    I'll give 100-1 odds (and I never bet) that the "talks" extend beyond tomorrow...unless the Iranians get exactly what they want. In which case, well, there won't be too many tomorrows to bet on, will there?

    (big grin) We've actually been experiencing "qualitative easing" in the political arena since the Fed creation and the income tax amendment - and I dare say my grandpappy would have argued that it's been going on for a helluva lot longer than that... LOL

    I see they've now extended talks 'til tomorrow.

    The irony of the fact that tomorrow is April Fools Day is just too delicious; and I'm sure it's lost on Messers Obama and Kerry.
