The talks have reached the deadline. But they didn't fail; we've simply entered a new phase of negotiation!

So now when you're three payments behind on you Lexus, you can just explain to the bank that you don't owe them anything...you've simply entered a new phase of payment!

Ingenious...

True. He doesn't. That's because most of the country doesn't have a clue as to what he's really trying to do. Destroy this nation,

It's dawned on me that Obama is giving the Iranians as much latitude as they want to make nukes because there's nothing he'd like more than to see Israel destroyed. It's his Muslim faith that tells him to do it.

now, the morning of the 3rd, we have Iran saying that
BHO's understanding of the "agreement" is too
    optimistic, compared with theirs.

and even the most optimistic view gives way too
much away to them. -- j

Of course, John! But we have a president who seems to be very much on the side of the Muslims. Which isn't surprising, as he was raised as one of them

True , but he presents himself as the representative of the USA and the rest of the world sees him that way. It's just hard to maintain a feeling of being part of this country and at the same time having such idiocy being promoted as the voice of the usa

I know there's a Monty Python/Spanish Inquisition quote that goes with this, and I cannot find it in the Teflon sieve I call my brain. Something about '....again, and we shall poke you with the soft cushions....."

Eleanor Roosevelt said that no one could make you feel bad except yourself. It is equally true that no one can make you feel like a fool except yourself.
John Kerry can only make a fool of himself.

I sure hope it is. Because if Obama gets us into a real Middle East war, dollars to doughnuts it'll be on the bad guys' side.

    Just so, John...they're not fools.

    ~Sigh~

Wish we had some of those not-fools on our team.

Kerry is making a fool out of us. Iran can stop making nuclear weapons anytime it wants; requiring nothing from us. They hold the cards to see what the USA is offering, and Kerry is making us look stupid with his "pretty please" negotiating. He should just get up and walk away. If he doesnt, the Iranians will just up the ante to see how much more the USA will give.

Well, it looks like John Kerry is going to give them one more day. Way to get tough, John! "I'm warning you, if you don't agree I'll have to warn you again tomorrow!"

This bimbo is the one clown who can make me long for the days of Hillary Clinton.

It's akin to talking things over with the arsonist as he sets your neighbors house on fire, rather than bringing in the police and fire fighters.
And, by the way, it's not a Lexus but a 10 year old mini-van and it's paid for.

Indeed, qualitative easing began long before quantitative. In fact, one could say one led to the other, e.g., The Fed.

My only disagreement: set the date back to at least the early 1800's. If Gallup existed then, Congressional approval rating would be about where it is now. Why do you think Congressman Davy Crockett headed for Texas?
