I agree with you, I heard him speak and he doesn't seem like anything special, typical cookie cutter politician. He uses all of the key buzz words to make a certain demographic feel warm and fuzzy inside. Disappointing.

Yes, Jedi Political Master. I even believe it may happen. The other thing that may be happening, is he's the rabbit for someone else not announced yet.

    In a word, yes.
While I was out listening to Rush on the car radio, it occurred to me during a commercial break that I require a fancy middle name as a presidential candidate.
I thus dub me Maestro (that title just popped into my head--maybe Monseigneur instead) Allo Theropodo Saurus, Esq.

I think Cruiz will wait for 3 till after he is in. Then the torpedo's may fly after they fail to stop him.

I take the opposite view. Anyone who cannot see that Israel is the first line of defense against Isis/Isil, Hesbala, Muslim Brotherhood, Iran... and once they are done their the Muslim will be coming for us next.... is a candidate I would not want.

I would like further understand your statement, but as it stands now if we did not stand with Israel we will simply be standing alone against our enemies.

People who make statements like "The flag of the Caliphate will fly over the whitehouse" and "death to America" are reason for some alarm on our part. Add to that the fact that its the leader of Iran and one has to ask why we are even having talks about them getting nukes.

Even the Saudi King has said they will stand with Israel to keep Iran from having nukes. If even a Muslim King can see that need, why can't we?

Best potential candidate in years, perhaps since Reagan.

    Yes, he did.
    He's a mixed bag.
My immediate interest though is making the Marxists freak out.
Which Cruz has accomplished in grand style.

He filibustered obamacare for 21 hours where he read excerpts from atlas shrugged. And that's before he was running for president. Should be an interesting campaign!

Wasn't he born in Canada? Not like birth was an issue for Obama but still.

I am frustrated at his venue choice. not happy to see him 1. affiliated symbolically with Jerry Falwell. 2. the announcement came at a MANDATORY morning assembly at the college. double gah. no wonder there were lots of Rand Paul tees in the audience 3. like we'll vote for you simply because you are christian? what? like I'll vote for Hilary because she's a woman (ahem) or Obama cuz he is black? plenty of leftist Christians in the world. try Italy. I was just disappointed. I don't want a theocracy, I want less govt in everything, regs rolled back, I do want smart foreign policy. it's not like you can pray wealth creation onto your table...cuz americans are doing that and it ain't working.

Sorry, I will not support any politician who fails the "I stand for Israel" litmus test. Any politician who announces that they support Israel is either bought and paid for by AIPAC or is really uninformed.

I watched his entire speech and must admit the man is one hell of a great orator and had no teleprompter guiding him. His heart seems to be in the right place and concerned with many of our misgivings. Now if only we didn't have to worry about it all being smoke in mirrors!

    I'd vote for Cruz's backbone.
I prefer Walker's backbone, at least for now.
I'll write this again: Should the POTUS choice come down to a GOP establishment RINO between a Dimwitcrat Marxist, I'll be voting for Libertarian or some other available alternate choice.
I might even write-in "the North America Mr. Allo Saurus Esq. currently residing at Jurassic Park."

I'm glad now you see my point.
    Have fun with this!
The opportunity it presents to hit back *hard* is immense, even if he's not the candidate.
