Two Votes

That's the TOTAL number of votes in favor of Obama's budgets as presented in the last 5 years. And that ignores the fact that when the Democrats held the House and Senate they didn't even pass a budget AT ALL!

And OBAMA is the one lecturing people!

Not that the GOP has presented any budget that is worth voting for either.

The most recent one coming from the House Budget Committee was pretty refreshing. No budget is going to be perfect until we do away with entitlements, but this one at least put in language to spend less than we take in. That's a major step in the right direction - especially since it now goes to the House Floor.

If it doesn't separate funding for socsec medicare and the associated spending from the rest of the budget and spending then it should fail.
If it spends $1 more than revenues in either category (socsec/medicare and other ) then it should fail.
        No more kicking the can.
Either spend less than what you steal from us, or go backrupt like any other poorly run business should.
(It should also not steal from the future to balance current expenditures.)

I agree in principle, but the reality is that that's not even politically feasible right now with Obama as President and a complicit media. I'll take a major step in the right direction and let the results (getting people back to work, etc.) drive the push from there. And hopefully in two years we'll have a presidential candidate (like Ted Cruz) who will actually push these items forward.

I'd like a major step in the right direction, too. I think we differ in the definition of "major." ;^)
These guys are spineless cowards and will not ever do anything major unless its in the wrong direction.
