Major entitlements (Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare and Social Security) devoured more than half of the 2014 budget at 51 percent of spending. Other federal benefits took another 19 percent, meaning that 70 percent of government spending went to pay some sort of benefit to someone.

- 4Posted by richrobinson 11 years, 1 month ago in reply to this comment.True. The problem really is that the money was confiscated twice. First from us and then the Feds stole it so they could spend it for other programs. My biggest takeaway is that this is unsustainable.| Permalink
