A group that doesn't know what pimple cream to use, who has absolutely NO civic responsibilities due to their age, doesn't pay a dime in property taxes, is going to become a voting bloc and will decide what others should be made to pay for. And this because the city council is afraid that there's becoming a dearth of 'progressive' voters.

- 4Posted by iroseland 10 years, 11 months agohey, when I was 16 I was already working. I was already paying taxes and I was emancipated that year, because I out-earned my mother. After that year of learning what the real world was about I would have however not voted the way the 'progressives' expected, as I knew the value of a dollar. In the meantime, you will all know when I 'go galt' because I will have down shifted from systems automation to just washing dishes at Ponderosa again.. So, I say bring it on.. If someone has an economic stake in the country they are the ones that actually should get a vote..| Permalink
