Eudaimonia's Single Glass Brewed Iced Tea Recipe
Since Michelle Obama's latest finger wagging is on sweet tea for me but not for thee,
here's my recipe for Single Glass Brewed Iced Tea (of which I'm having a glass right now)
Ingredients:
Water
Ice
Lemon (1 slice, thin)
Lime (1 slice, thin)
Mint (Fresh, two leaves)
Honey (1.5 - 2 teaspoons) (Preferably raw, unfiltered)
Tea (Your choice, 1 serving, ball or bag)
Heat water to boil.
Place lemon, lime, and mint at the bottom of a tall drinking glass.
Place ice in the same glass, shake ice down to fit in more ice, fill ice to top of glass.
Place honey at the bottom of a coffee mug.
When water comes to a boil, fill the coffee mug half way with the boiling water.
Stir the water until the honey has dissolved.
Place tea ball/bag into the water and let steep until tea is dark.
(Please do not squeeze the tea leaves, unless you like bitter tea)
Pour the tea into the drinking glass, over the ice.
Lightly stir to mix in the citrus and mint.
Toast our dietary overlords (or not), and enjoy.

Let me know if you are ever around the Cheyenne, Wyoming area.
Thanks!
I have a party tomorrow with a small group and I'm going to use your suggestions and let everyone make their tea accordingly.
Quick question- what about crushing the mint in the honey?
