Britain has never banned police from having guns if they feel they need them, but most still do not.

The 2nd Amendment, of course, was supposed to be a bulwark vs. tyranny, but that only worked so long as the common people were better armed than the national army. Sometime between the Civil War and WW1 that ceased to be true. I suppose that could change back, but it would take the cooperation of DC since they have all the big stuff now.

That's funny, but sucks. Liam Neeson used to be one of my favorite actors. But I can't stand hypocrisy. I realize its out there and we can all be a little hypocritical at times, but earning your living as an action hero toting guns all the time and fighting the bad guys with guns. Yet he wants to remove guns from the hands of those defending their homes and families. Unexcuseable.

I enjoyed Taken and Taken 2 and bought the Blueray discs. When I heard Liam speak out against guns both those discs went in my box of targets along with Barbara Streisand records and my Xs Jane Fonda work out tapes.
