“We cannot expect the Americans to jump from capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving Americans small doses of socialism until they suddenly awake to find they have Communism.” ~ Nikita Khrushchev, 1959

" I wonder how much problem the Boston bombers went to in identifying the combatants they killed. "
Those guys are bad role models.

And your solution would be what? Everyone refuse to join our military and run to Sweden? So long as half of the country is on the dole, not much is going to change for the better. I don't have much good to say about Slick Willie, but he has it right about welfare. It's become a way of life for far too many.

When will be have a new queen bee and what will the rest of the hive do when she fly's away with the drones to start a new hive?

Sarcasm? What signs? I keep saying we've fallen into barbarism and a new Dark Ages. It's another case of seeing the splinter in the other's eye and denying the log in our own. Yes, A is A, and that requires intellectual honesty enough not to resort to self-delusion and denial of the wrong-doings of the Obama administration. There is no facile way to sort out the entangled mess of all the convoluted motivations and groups. No single group is clean and beyond reproach. Strange bedfellows have emerged. These little text boxes are not really big enough for substantive discussions. There are no instant fixes.

That's all real nice PC. I guess we're supposed to paint a sign on the non combatants so we’re sure to not get them with the drones and feel sorry for them if we do. I wonder how much problem the Boston bombers went to in identifying the combatants they killed. Let’s not mention the young boy that just shot a man in the head. We’re fighting rabid animals. Where were the names of the 3,000 murdered in the twin towers attack? General Schwarzkopf had it right when he said that the job of the Army is to kill people and break things.

I want the part where I crash through the walls of Congress, roaring, "Feed me RINOs!"
In the next scene, a boo-hooing Boner for a house speaker flees down a hall.
Meanwhile, I lift my tail over Dingy Harry and Botox Nancy, roaring, "Stick around. I deal with your kind in a short!

I am not disputing that the U.S. government has succumbed to socialist/communist ideology. I am faulting the concomitant endless wars on fraudulent grounds and atrocities the U.S. commits, justifying them by blaming their victims for fighting back. How is Glenn Greenwald's article nonsensical? What ad hominem? We need full context.

"We don't need to take any of it too seriously."
My thought is we can take problems seriously without giving into paranoia. We can say that some problem, i.e. domestic violence, pollution, armed robbery, is less of a problem in our society than most in human hiistory and still take the problem very seriously.

your link is nonsensical. A is A. Show me that communism does not have a stranglehold on the US. Your unwillingness to recognize such and shift to ad hominem shows you do not have an argument

I am sorry you lost me with the "Dead and buried" comment. And what is the point of then pointing to the Ray Stevens video?

It's a satirical song titled "Obama Nation" that's critical of POTUS, as in Abomination. Is that what you're asking? Oh, give it a listen.

Ed, I think the hardest job in the world must be to be a step parent. Lots of responsibility but no authority. I hope they learn as they get older. You seem like a great guy to me.

Well that's not entirely out of the question in my lifetime. We're already at a single party system of straight up left wing fascist socialists although I think much of it is a guise for neo-feudalism AKA return of the established ruling class. Communism or Nazi-ism to name both the International and National versions are just the extreme version of government control over citizens.

We have the Protective Echelon in place and electronic block wardens. Not so far fetched a notion.

To be safe just practice the salute and remember to say "We serve the party Comrade!"

Me? Chuckle - I'll be dead by then or close to it. You'll find me buried in Bight ME comrade!

Glad you got a second chance. I only have step-kids and they grew up kind of spoiled so they don't get exchanging value. It's all about taking. Try to teach but not very receptive.
