Indeed, I let GeForce Experience install a Driver update for my GTX760 video card, and it murdered my Win7 install. Had to reinstall, which was a big pain because my backups all apparently, were "invalid". I was able to recover all my stuff from my drive, but then DirectX wouldn't run. So I don't let anything install anything unless I check it first. There are 28 Win7 updates and about 20 for other stuff, they sure make insecure software to need like, 100 security patches as year?

Better yet disable updates until something doesn't work. Then research whether an update is needed. Letting MSFT do auto updates is like letting the IRS do your taxes.
