Time To Start Using The "F" Word

"The fascists are out in the open now. It is breathtaking to watch this unfold, more so to see the lack of public reaction. This is how it happens, I guess. This will be the point in time that future generations point to and say, “There! That’s when they should have done something.”

But I also know I am far from the only American who feels this way. Can we still stop the descent into totalitarian horror? Who will lead us? What is to be done?"

    Hello UncommonSense,
The Feds are criminals in the face of the Constitution. I fear that if the States do not assert their rights peacefully and turn this bus around, we will all be thrown under it.
I do not relish the notion that Jefferson propounded when he said, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." - Thomas Jefferson

One would think that the Feds would consider the alternatives and recognize that the Constitution which is essentially a contract delimiting the powers of the Feds and return sovereign power to its rightful owners. This is the only prudent way to maintain comity between the divergent interests of the citizens. The constant diminution of the sovereignty of the States and the Individual is the path to division among factions.

If I am on a list, I accept the honor, for I stand for the principles on which this nation was founded and respect the terms of our founding documents. The twisting of the language and blatant usurpation are the works of enemies of the domestic kind.
Glad to have you by my side, my friend.
    Respectfully,
    O.A.

    Hello concious1978,

We must support those that have a backbone. They need reassurance and constant scrutiny. You are right, too many go there and end up corrupted. The States that are suing the Federal government are on the right track. State leaders have not gone to Washington D.C. and become as corrupt yet. Sometimes I think, as good as our Constitution sounds, we were actually better off operating under the Articles of Confederation.
I am on the outside. Proud of it.
    To those Elitists... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNakt52y...
I intend to go on exercising my rights, including the 1st amendment as long as possible, This Federal behemoth needs a good chastisement.
    Regards,
    O.A.

Overall, yes. In my opinion, based on what I've read and compared to what I've been observing: no one can get in on the executive branch game unless they have the explicit permission of the CFR. Anyone who refuses to submit is simply out of the game...no matter what you try to do or how much $$ you have.

It's the CFR SOP (standard operating procedure) to character-assassinate (via their controlled MSM channels & talk shows) anyone who challenges their death-grip on the WH. Herman Cain comes to my mind as an example.

Excellent points, O.A. But, I don't think they are really interested in the "moral high ground". Those inside the beltway are constantly exposed to the worst kind of corrupt peer pressure. As you know, men who would defend our rights and liberty are not the 'norm'. They are eaten by the vultures on the hill because of their fire for freedom.

We seem to be headed back to the feudal cultures of our past as the Elitist 'borg' continues to grow...

The best hope to save our poor country may be a Convention of States, if it ever comes about.

The problem is in his question. "Who will lead us?"

As long as we sit and wait for the Great One to arise, we lose.

That's the problem: they have absolutely no sense. Only ideology. I'm thinking this will go on beyond the 2 years you're predicting. I hope I'm wrong.

And OA comes out of the woodwork to respond! I totally agree with your comment, but unfortunately, the feds disagree, and you may have inadvertently marked yourself as an enemy of the state. Don't worry, I'll be happy to be along side!

Tytler predicted this centuries ago. A democracy can't last...............it always ends up in a dictatorship.

If the Feds have any sense at all, they will back-off. Unfortunately, I only expect more of the same... at least for the next two years.

    Hello khalling,
Fantastic. Civil, State disobedience. Tell the Feds to go pound sand if it isn't in the Constitution ratified by the States that created the Federal government. The States created the Federal government to serve their needs. The Fed's did not create the States. They need to learn once again who is the boss. What are they going to do when States across the nation are reasserting their legitimate sovereignty? Nothing, if the States and their governors, and legislatures stand firm, unless they want another civil war. I find it most difficult to believe the military or other States would unite in suppressing other States exercising their rights. Long gone are the days when the Feds had the moral high ground like the civil war where they could use slavery as a cudgel.

Excellent article. It is going to be hard for the States to defy the Feds for too long. Many are addicted to the Federal money they get. I hope the Republican nominee speaks openly and frankly about this as well. it's the best chance to stop it.
