The author has it right. There is no equivocation under the law. It's binary and not subject to conditions - especially those unilaterally imposed by the President.

    Legal Immigrants created the "Nation of Laws" we live under, so saying laws do not apply because we are a nation of immigrants, means laws do not apply to illegal immigrants.
