Wonder what AR might say about that... ?

Nope, I see prejudice, racism and other wonderful characteristics demonstrated by O...

Yes. I fear that the representatives in Congress are actually that - representative of Americans.

Hey, wait a minute... in all "FAIRNESS" and Equality and Equal Opportunity and all THAT shit, why do I keep getting the impression that damned near EVERY appointment by BO is, ah, how you say it? BLACK?

Shouldn't the "fair" representation be by demographics? Huh? Huh?

    Hello sumitch,
I like average Texans! I worked with a lot of them in the panhandle area back in 81-82. I also like to see gun racks in the back windows of pickup trucks and waving to perfect strangers as you pass them on the road. :)
    Regards,
    O.A.

Ted Cruz: There is a new Sheriff in town. It would suit me just fine if he walked into congress wearing a ten gallon hat, cowboy boots, a gun belt and six shooter. Go Ted! He brings out the vitriol from the statists like almost no one else. I like that.

Exactly....and the response to that name calling should be... "Sticks and stones... If you can't handle the truth and want to be a name caller go back to kindergarten. We have work to do and you're just being disruptive to the process. If you want to sit at this table, you have to be a grown up with ideas."

yes, and it's an unnecessary question, given the
certainty of her behavior, I'm afraid. -- j

The senator from LA has all the information necessary to disqualify Lynch if not indict her. I hope his committee acts on the information.

You get out what you put in. The old engineering nightmare: Garbage in, garbage out. You can dress up a mud pie with whipped cream, but it will still taste like mud.

I think the only reason she was selected so they can pull out the race card again, and keep the subject changed..

They have let the smack-downs the media gives them drive their own behavior. I've often found that speaking my mind and not really giving a hoot what someone else thinks is at a minimum, something that can be respected, and occasionally people agree with me.

Well, do you suppose she'll use her public office
to start belting out "You ain't woman enough to
take my man!?"--(-Sorry, I just found a chance to
get that in too attractive. Philosophically irrelevant,
    of course).

If the Repubs cannot do what is right and just and reject this woman Lynch then they need to step aside and give the leadership to a Conservative!

When the history of America, following the next "renaissance" in pursuit of the Utopia of individual freedom, one of the points that will clearly be made is the fact that it was the congress - the collective and repeated expression of the corrupted moral values of the citizens themselves, that was responsible for the destruction of our founders vision. Yes, said vision contained flaws, themselves a product of said corruption, but the ideas expressed in Jefferson's marvelous Declaration, portrayed with moral clarity in Atlas Shrugged, will finally come to be understood and embraced. Until such time, the inconsistent and somber folly that is the injustice of the American political scene, will continue toward its unfortunate reckoning.

And to answer your questions, johnpe1.. of course Lynch will continue to operate just like Holder did... that's why bo wants her. Plus she's female on top of being black so he thinks he's got the perfect combination to shut people up out of fear of being called some names that end with 'ist'.

One of the Republicans biggest problems is they start statements with crap like this:

“We appreciate Ms. Lynch for her many years of outstanding service to our nation,”

I do not understand that pussy footed approach whatsoever. It's wishy washy and weak!.

Then they go on to say this:

“Nonetheless, having observed her nominating hearing testimony, we can only conclude that she has no intention of departing in any meaningful way from the policies of Attorney General Eric Holder, who has politicized the Department of Justice and done considerable harm to the administration of justice.”
