I suppose I'm the only one who finds it ironic that there's a Harry Potter marathon over the Thanksgiving holiday. Maybe it's not irony, but intentional.

I would love to see a movie like this, with the witches and wizards and muggles and all the magic flying about and fear of the "evil" wizards... and then see one guy step forward, perfectly immune to every spell they cast at him, pull out a gun and shoot the "evil wizard" where all the magic of the good wizards/witches failed.

Then, when asked which school of magic he studied at, the wizard-killer replies... "M.I.T... I'm a physicist."

(so grounded in reality that their "magic" had no effect).

Yes, these are the thoughts that wander through my mind while I'm bored.
