I can't remember who it was but during a discussion of the ACA a Democrat Representative said we had tried the free market and it had failed so we had to try something else. Our health care system has not been a "free Market" system for a long time. I contend that the problems that exist are a direct result of government meddling. Ironic that the ultimate solution will be as you said...a single payer system government run system.| Permalink
