NYT(SL)imes following in Brian Williams false footsteps

Another article published, unvetted, in order to fan the progressive flames of utter ignorance. This newsrag isn't worthy for use as a wee wee pad, let alone to be held in such illogical esteem. The editors should be fired, across the board.
It also shows how very desperate the left is to vilify firearms, and the people who LEGALLY have them.

Can't say I'm surprised. I fervently hope that the American people will finally have had enough when the government comes to take our guns.

I think that the limit has hit the threshold. I know that even here, in this anti liberty state of CT, people are pushing back. Even the police aren't enforcing the gun registration law. Which is just horrifically chilling that it even exists. A book that's a must read about this very thing is Gun Control In The Third Reich by Stephen P. Halbrook. Very disturbing what came about from WWI and the Weimar Republic..

Artist, it is wonderful to hear that people are pushing back. Years ago I had a Jewish friend who escaped from Germany in 1943. I asked her once if she thought most Germans supported the Nazis. She replied absolutely not. So I asked then how could the Nazis control the populace? She said, don't you understand? The first thing they did was take away the guns.
So I have been very aware of what gun control really means.
I love how you state " it is horrifyingly chilling that it even exists". That says it all.

I'm glad she was able to get out! And that you knew her.
The people pushing for these arbitrary and draconian measures, don't know history. And they haven't studied ours enough, for that matter.

She was one of 2 people in her family to survive. Her father earned the Iron Cross in WWI, so he and her mother weren't sent to Auschwitz until 1944. Her 2 brothers escaped on foot to another country, where one was captured and killed. The other brother made it to England, where he enlisted and fought. Her story made quite an impact on me, especially about gun rights.
