    You don't think this is a good rule? That our lawmakers don't use their inside info to line their own pockets?
    Or worse, use their position to influence events in order to favor their investments...?

    I've often wondered why congress had to pass a law supposedly making it against the law to use the knowledge they have for insider trading. So much for everyone equal under the law.

    Right out of the Alinsky playbook: Obfuscate and blur. Write a health law so obtuse that no one can understand it. Cover illegalities with a fog of language. Put off doing anything until everyone forgets about it.

    KFC has been used so often it can be difficult to find out it means Kentucky Fried Chicken too, The letters are easier to market

    A simple Bing search would have shown that this is a British (multi-national) financial institution. I assume that the writer thought that was fairly well understood by the primary audience.

    Similarly, WND could be found with a simple search. It has become rather ubiquitous, kind of like CNN - does anyone call it Cable News Network?

    I skimmed through the entire article, searching for the meaning of HSBC - to no avail. I guess that's not surprising, since the website doesn't even tell you what WND means!

    Former Treasury Secretary got away with it using social secuirty funds on the tessabono bail out directly benefiting his real employer Goldman Sachs in which, blind trust or not, he held stock.

    Didn't rate a ho hum much less any excitement

    This one is just following the leaders. When it gets a bit hot like Chris Dodd they move to million dollar a year jobs

    Ho hum is all you are going to get from the Government Party better known as the Inside Traders.

    Why is everything steered by 'ists'? What happened to facts and honesty? I'm a fact-ists and an honesty-ist. I'm sick of lying women and maniacal black "leaders" getting an automatic pass because they're dna or skin pigment serves as some shield of superiority.

    Anyone opposing her confirmation will be labeled sexist and racist, so she will be confirmed regardless. This criminal activity will be ignored, as usual because the money will find it's way to the 'appropriate' accounts.
