Are you saying that we will all be using the back yard when society fails (and the sewer systems)?
    If so...good point!

The blackened Snapper was very good, and hard to get just 'right' at home.
    Lobster tails are easy.
    I said 'child abuse'...not lobster abuse! ;-)

Now, if you are saying that my grandkids are at the bottom of the food chain, you might be right!

I grew up liking spam. When cut into thin slices and crisp fried, it went well with eggs for breakfast -- a good substitute for bacon.

Catfish -- fatty? That's new to me. I generally add fat to them so they won't be so dry to eat.

And then 'anointed' the cable, to add the final touch?

Two thoughts - ironworkers learn to grow their bladders as well, often spending most of the day on the red iron. I had a city girl living with me on the mountain in Texas back in the 70`s, came home to a new one holer dug up on a ridge behind the property, complete with a seat, she was really proud of herself - till a guy showed up a couple days later really pissed, she had cut into a buried large bundled commo cable underground.

There is an old country store down the road that is on the Historical Register, that has some wonderful grist mill yellow grits.
I you want a package, let me know!

That sounds odd to me. Even in the Old World, Finland was known to be the place where, "Every man was a hero and every woman was a sorceress." Since your granddad apparently did not end up as a frog, she must have loved him a lot (and appreciated her bathroom privileges).
