I am the same way with shellfish (something about the chemical in anything that has a shell) like lobster, crab, oysters and clams. I neither love or hate them, I just cannot eat them.

One of THE great sandwiches on the planet is PETROSSIAN smoked salmon on Italian walnut bread with tomato, arugula and dijon. Guess you'll not be coming over for lunch. "More for me," as Mom used to say.

Loathing or despising fish is not the same as saying you will not eat them.
I am allergic to peanuts and cannot eat them, but I neither like or dislike them.

I like to fly fish because I can't find anything else that is as foolish as fish that will bite on my flies. Just don't ask me to eat them.
